48 डिग्री में उबल रहा शहर, मगर इन कॉलोनियों के किसी घर में AC नहीं, IAS अफसर भी पंखे से काम है.  चला रहे है.

 आपको शायद यकीन न हो, लेकिन ये सच है. यहां आज भी AC लगाने पर पाबंदी है. ऐसा नहीं है कि ये लोग AC (एयर कंडीशनर) नहीं खरीद सकते. दरअसल इन लोगों को कभी ऐसी की जरूरत ही नहीं पड़ी. क्योंकि यहां का तापमान शहर की अपेक्षा  बहुत कम है.

 आगरा: इन दिनों उत्तर भारत समेत कई शहरों में गर्मी ने अपने रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए हैं. आगरा भी उस लिस्ट में शामिल है. यहां 124 सालों का रिकॉर्ड टूटा है. 124 सालों में दूसरी बार आगरा का तापमान 48 डिग्री के पार जा पहुंचा है. आगरा उबल रहा है .गर्मी से लोग परेशान हैं. गर्मी से बचने के लोग उपाय खोज रहे हैं. AC (air conditioner) की दुकानों पर लोगों की भीड़ लगी हुई है. लेकिन इन सभी के उलट आगरा दयालबाग की एक दर्जन कॉलोनियों में आज भी AC नहीं है .

 आपको शायद यकीन न हो, लेकिन ये सच है. यहां आज भी AC लगाने पर पाबंदी है. ऐसा नहीं है कि ये लोग AC (एयर कंडीशनर) नहीं खरीद सकते. दरअसल इन लोगों को कभी ऐसी की जरूरत ही नहीं पड़ी. क्योंकि यहां का तापमान शहर की अपेक्षा कम है. इन कॉलोनी में आईएएस, आईपीएस और कई सारे जज भी रहते हैं. जो गर्मियों में सिर्फ कूलर और पंखे से कम चलाते हैं. 

 पेड़ लगाने से हो गया तापमान कम 

आगरा सिटी के बीचों-बीच में दयालबाग स्थित है. यहां पर 50 से 90 साल पुरानी लगभग एक दर्जन कालोनियां है. शहर की अपेक्षा इन कॉलोनी के तापमान में  kafi कमी देखने को मिलती है .इसके पीछे की वजह यहां का शानदार इको सिस्टम और हरियाली युक्त माहौल. यहां हर घर के आगे पेड़ लगे हैं. साथ ही घरों की बनावट ऐसी है कि वेंटिलेशन अधिक होने की वजह से हवा और नमी रहती है . घरों तापमान भी बेहद कम रहता है. आसपास की कॉलोनी में अत्यधिक पेड़ लगे हुए हैं. किसी भी घर की छत पर आपको एयर कंडीशनर लटका हुआ नहीं दिखाई देगा

. यह कॉलोनी स्वामी नगर, दयाल नगर, प्रेम नगर ,विद्युत नगर, श्वेत नगर, कार्यवीर नगर, राधा नगर, सरन नगर ,मेहर बाग और DEI कॉलोनी है. इन सभी कॉलोनी में 1500 ज्यादा परिवार रहते हैं. इसमे से किसी के घर में एयर कंडीशनर नहीं लगा है. सिर्फ पंखा और कूलर से काम चलता है. हमने पेड़ लगाए एयर कंडीशनर नहीं… दयाल नगर के रहने वाले एडवोकेट CM सिंह बताते हैं, ‘हमारे घर इसलिए ठंडा हैं क्योंकि हमने पेड़ लगाए air conditioner नहीं. air conditioner परमानेंट सॉल्यूशन नहीं है.

 एक पेड़ कई air conditioner जितनी ठंडक देता है .हमारा घर चारों तरफ से पेड़ों से घिरा हुआ है. धूप कम आती है और अंदर के जो कमरे हैं उनका तापमान भी बेहद कम रहता है. सिर्फ कूलर या पंखे में ही काम चल जाता है. लोगों को चाहिए कि वह air conditioner छोड़कर पेड़ लगाए. दयालबाग है इको फ्रेंडली यहां हर चीज है ऑर्गेनिक राधा नगर के गुरमौज चावड़ा ने बताया कि उनकी कॉलोनी में air conditioner लगाने की इजाजत नहीं है. ऐसा नहीं है कि लोग air conditioner खरीद नहीं सकते. यहां के रहने वाले लोगों को इसकी कभी जरूरत महसूस ही नहीं हुई. क्योंकि पेड़ों की वजह से तापमान बेहद कम है. दयालबाग को इको फ्रेंडली बनाने की यह पहल है. पर्यावरण बचाने में हम सभी का योगदान होना चाहिए .बढ़ता तापमान हम सब के लिए खतरा है.

 इसके लिए दयालबाग के लोगों ने सालों पहले से तैयारी शुरू कर दी थी’. एसी पर्यावरण के लिए घातक कई सालों से दयालबाग में रहने वाले एडवोकेट अमन चौहान बताते हैं कि air conditioner वातावरण से नमी खींचकर हीट पैदा करता है. किसी भी लिहाज से air conditioner वातावरण के लिए ठीक नहीं है. हमने अपने घरों के सामने पेड़ लगाए हैं. ताजा हवा मिलती है. लोगों से अपील है कि वह air conditioner छोड़े और पेड़ लगाने पर जोर दें;.

In a city boiling at 48 degrees, some colonies still lack ACs, with even IAS officers relying on fans for comfort. Surprisingly, there's no ban on ACs; residents simply never felt the need due to the city's generally lower temperatures. Among these colonies are homes to IAS, IPS, and various judges, who manage with just fans and coolers during summers.

The temperature dropped thanks to planting trees Dayalbagh, situated amidst Agra city, boasts about a dozen colonies ranging from 50 to 90 years old. These colonies maintain lower temperatures compared to the rest of the city due to their lush greenery and eco-friendly environment. Every home here is surrounded by trees, aiding ventilation and maintaining cooler indoor temperatures. These colonies, like Swami Nagar, Dayal Nagar, Prem Nagar, Vidhyut Nagar, Shwet Nagar, Karyaveer Nagar, Radha Nagar, Sarnai Nagar, Meher Bagh, and DEI Colony, accommodate over 1500 families, none of whom rely on ACs. Fans and coolers suffice for their needs.

"We planted trees instead of installing ACs..." Residents like Advocate CM Singh from Dayal Nagar affirm that their homes remain cool without ACs due to abundant tree cover. Trees provide natural cooling, making ACs unnecessary. Their homes are surrounded by greenery, reducing direct sunlight and maintaining comfortable temperatures inside. They advocate for planting trees over relying on ACs.

Eco-friendly Dayalbagh: everything here is organic Gurmouj Chawda from Radha Nagar mentions that their colony prohibits AC installations, not because residents can't afford them but because they've never felt the need. Trees keep temperatures low, making Dayalbagh an eco-friendly neighborhood. They emphasize the importance of environmental conservation and urge others to prioritize tree planting to combat rising temperatures.

ACs are harmful to the environment Advocate Aman Chauhan, a long-time resident of Dayalbagh, highlights how ACs contribute to environmental degradation by expelling heat. He advocates for tree planting as a sustainable alternative to combat rising temperatures and urges people to reconsider their reliance on ACs.
